Lately a cop died in Toronto and for the past 2-3 days it has been the practically the ONLY topic that the News has been covering on multiple different stations.

So heres the story,

Some cracked-out homeless guy stole a snow plow. This cop attempts to stop the snow plow but in turn, the homeless man hits the cop and kills him.

Now, let me tell you I do feel sorrow for the policeman and his family. But it does NOT deserve this level of news coverage. People were calling into multiple news stations to express there feelings. One woman called in saying “I would just like to send my condolences to the family of the victim and I would like to say that I am out in Hamilton and it has effected us all, and I was speaking to a friend in Oshawa who said that everyone there is feeling it as well. I would just like to point out that it is not just Toronto feeling this, and we are right there with them… blahblahblah”.

Now I understand sending your goddamn condolences but in the end who gives a fuck?

People die every day. Children, babies, men and women. My friend was stabbed to death by a stranger in October. There was a minimal 5 minute news cover about him and that was it.

He was 16 at the time. I never got to call in and express how I felt about the situation, and it fucking sucked.

So fuck the news, and there conservative bullshit views on what they choose to cover.
